Singer For Hire

Singer For Hire

Carla remembers singing from a very young age. Carla Fay White has an evolving non-traditional approach to singing. Upon awakening each morning she reinvents herself and rearranges her furniture. She is content to sing in public whenever the opportunity arises. As a voice teacher she works hard to encourage and nurture her voice students in the journey of developing their craft. Carla is proud of her past accomplishments in music and theatre but most of all looks...

This evocative song cycle suggests the snow fall of winter, both quiet and beautiful, as well as the pain of chance encounters, the grief of loss, and the bittersweet healing of time. This was my first time to perform this song cycle with an orchestral ensemble from the Lake Charles Symphony directed by the talented and renowned...
